Thoughts are not intangible clouds that appear over cartoon characters. They are very much tangible, triggering the body to produce neuro-electrical biochemicals (serotonin, dopamine, epinephrine, etc...) that flow down a path of connected nerve cells to create emotions which relate to those thoughts. They actually occupy a space in our brain through neurons (nerve cells) and explain why we call them thought patterns (created by nerve pathways).
In our office, we observe that slow healing injuries are usually due to:

LOOK OUT for the blessings that each experience life has to offer…
for every ‘negative’ in your life,
there are many more ‘positives’.
Focus your attention on that which brings joy and life.
All else is wasted energy!

Getting old is not for the faint of heart, they say. It's 'old age'! Is it really?
Ever thought of neglect? As a clinician who's practiced for over 18 years, I'm seeing 19 year-olds coming in with 'old people problems' - muscle and joint aches that won't heal. Just lay on some junk food, sleep deprivation and sodas - and you can feel as old as your Grandpa. On the other hand, I see 40-somethings taking a hold of their lives, eat and rest better - and they feel better than they've ever in their 20's!

One can't help but feel the stress and hardship of all around. This economic crisis has taken many by surprise. Investments are lost overnight, so are jobs. What you're been comfortable with are suddenly stripped away from you. How are you handling it?
Are you angry? Cussing at the injustice? Blaming it on greedy investors or crooked politicians? Let's reframe for a moment. Perhaps your anger is justified and your frustrations are sound. What will you do about it? Will you take the bull by the horn and do something about it? If this is not your fight, then take a good look at yourself and observe if these circumstances are provoking your best foot forward... or exposing your ugly mole?

To our loyal customers and patients - May you continue to press on to live healthily... mind, body and soul so that you may accomplish your God-given passions and endeavors. May you fulfill dreams and bring to fruition visions!
2008 has been a difficult year for many. For some, unexpected health challenges and others, financial crisis shared by everyone else. In the midst of it all, whether your challenges are personal and private, or part of the global community and public - we hope that you will find peace and comfort knowing that our Creator GOD has everything under control. Nothing shocks Him. Know that He cares and though the outcome is not what you may expect, look with great abandonment and anticipation what lessons He has in store for you. No experience is every wasted if you have an open heart... keep it soft and supple so that it can be molded into a beautiful Work of Art that only He, the Ultimate Sculptor and Physician, can knit together. Put one foot in front of the other daily and listen to His still, small voice. If you seek Him, you will find!
At the meantime, eat well and take supplements to keep your body thriving; exercise to keep the muscles strong and circulation flowing; and rest in body and spirit to keep the mind at peace.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight". Holy Scriptures Proverbs 3:5-6
