I love to travel and learn new things from people around the globe.  I'm particularly interested in how we can live better (stress less), do things easier &  eat healthier in our increasingly fast paced society.  Most of us, especially in this poor economy, suffer from mental & emotional overload and can barely take care of daily chores.  How can we even find the time to exercise?  And if we don't - stress mounts, muscles get tight & sluggish, energy is sapped, hormones get imbalanced - you get the picture.

Look no further!  A patient of mine came up with a novel idea and I have permission to share her story.  Not quite the athletic type and finding it hard to get motivated to exercise, she "took the job (at Sears working at the Land's End department) for fun for three days a week of weight bearing exercise".  Though it pays only minimum wage, she power walks "quickly from one end of the store to the other as well as back and forth checking on items for customers in the warehouse".  She also has to climb 20-foot ladders to bring inventory down,  reach for a coat and "bend down farther than I can comfortably bend these days" to find customer sizes.  Being in the east coast now (with predictable bad weather compared to California), she now has no excuse not to exercise - she works indoor!

While we all can't go out and take part-time jobs, maybe we can take a dog walking customer, volunteer to help at the food bank, schedule a walk with a depressed friend to get her out to walk (be her therapist... uhhh, friend, I mean).... anything that will commit us to movement.

How to get started? Getting started may be difficult for many of you who have been inactive for a while, so supplementing with these will boost your energy and ultimately, your motivation:

Garden of Life RAW B-complex - supplement to increase energy & motivate exercise!

BioMatrix Support Adrenals - supplement to increase energy & motivate exercise!

Write and tell us how YOU creatively add exercise or movement into your daily lifestyle!

Maybe you'll inspire others.
